Brookbow Presents: The Last Day

Brookbow Presents: The Last Day

Today is a special day in the Brookbow world.

It’s the release day of our first Brookbow Presents feature “The Last Day.”

It’s a short film following one of the most inspirational people I’ve ever met.

Dayle Mazzarella.

Dayle is the master casting instructor I’ve partnered with to provide you with some of the best quality casting lessons found online right now.

But more than that, he’s a truly inspiring human.

He is a born teacher and won’t stop doing so until his body physically won’t let him continue.

In this short film, Dayle answers the age-old question…

What would you do if it was your last day on earth?

Please share this video with anyone you think would enjoy it if it resonates with you.

Thank you,

About Dayle Mazzarella:

For over 40 years, Dayle Mazzarella has been a highly successful coach and teacher and has numerous coach and teacher of the year awards for his leadership success in the classroom and on the athletic field.

Dayle has a B.A. and an M.A. in Education, from San Diego State University and National University, San Diego, respectively.

Dayle was born in Wyoming and has spent much of every summer exploring this magnificent state. Beginning in 1987, Dayle has worked as a fly fishing guide in Western Wyoming. For the past five years, Dayle has specialized in fly fishing and guiding the Salt, Hams Fork, and Smiths Fork drainages.

Dayle and his wife, Barbara, spend the winters in Florida and much of the spring and fall in San Diego.

In addition to his Wyoming experiences, Dayle has fished in South America, Alaska, Mexico, New Zealand, and the Caribbean.

Fly fishing for Snook, Bonefish, Redfish, Rooster Fish, Tarpon, Dorado, Sharks, and other large gamefish has expanded his knowledge base and, more importantly, allowed him to better communicate fly fishing instruction to his clients.

Dayle has enjoyed fishing the U.S.’s West Coast, East Coast, and states in between, and continues to be impressed by the wealth of knowledge and friendliness of the people in every region.

Dayle is one of the world’s approximately 210 International Federation of Fly Fishers’ Master Casting Instructors.

He enjoys teaching beginners, young people, and groups as well as seasoned casters and fly fishing enthusiasts.

Dayle also mentors candidates who are preparing for the International Federation of Fly Fishers’ certification exams.

While in Florida and San Diego, Dayle focuses on teaching fly casting to individuals as well as large and small groups.

Dayle’s wife, Barbara, is the real backbone of the operation.

She keeps track of communications, managing the calendar, lunches, reservations and shuttles, and a myriad of other details that allow Dayle to give his casting students and fishing clients an incredibly organized and well-thought-out experience.

Dayle believes his priorities to be 1) the safety of his clients, 2) the pursuit of a fun and exhilarating experience, and 3) the development of self-sufficiency so that those under his guidance can continue to enjoy the sport of fly fishing long after they have spent time with him and Barbara.
